Christopher Silber

Research and Data Assistant

As a Research and Data Assistant, Chris’s role is to collect, clean, and aggregate data from a wide range of sources including the U.S. Census, government administrative data sets, and proprietary data sets. He also assists IHS staff in creating tables, charts and maps for ongoing research and technical projects. Chris will receive his BA in Geography with a focus on Urban Development and Planning at DePaul University in spring 2020. Prior to working at IHS, Chris worked as a research assistant under DePaul Professors Dr. Alec Brownlow, Dr. Alex Papadopoulos, and Dr. Euan Hague. He also interned as an emergency preparedness data analyst at the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
