William Holland

Research and Policy Analyst

As Research and Policy Analyst at the Institute for Housing Studies, Will is responsible for conducting applied research projects as well as data visualization, analysis, and mapping that connects IHS’s work to local and national policy issues. Will has a broad base of housing experience spanning community and economic development, construction, and policy research and analysis. He has worked on research projects with Place Lab at the University of Chicago, the Illinois Housing Development Authority, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and North Branch Works—an economic development agency operating in one of Chicago’s Planned Manufacturing Districts. Will received a BA in Sociology from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Urban Planning and Policy degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
